Design Story

The scarlet upper carries a cracked, worn-in texture that keeps the red from looking flat, and sitting right on the outer side panel is the oversized Block O, outlined in grey and white so it reads instantly from across a room. A buckeye leaf sits nearby as a smaller supporting note, never competing for attention. The heel strap runs a clean white OHIO STATE wordmark on scarlet, with a round team button at the pivot. White speed stripes and a scarlet speckle fade sweep the heel and midsole, so the eye travels from the toe cap back through the graphic into the stripes. Left and right mirror each other, which doubles the Block O impact when the pair is seen together.

Wear & Styling

The curved upper actually flatters the design: the Block O bends slightly with the toe cap, and the perforations fall around it instead of through it, keeping the logo intact. Scarlet upper against the pale sole gives the clog silhouette a sharp two-tone break.
